I think I have now found my ideal job, but I once had another great job; it was while we were living in Alaska. I worked for the commissary (that is an Army grocery store) in the bakery. I worked whenever I wanted to, so that meant after the store had closed, so all I had to do was decorate cakes. I did not have to wear any kind of uniform, and I really loved the freedom and the pay. That was when I first discovered that I wanted to be my own boss and run my own business. Currently my family and I are living in Maryland

Interesting things about me: I am a certified soup, salad, and sandwich chef. I am a professional cake decorator and just love being paid to “play” with frosting. Hey, I guess this would be a great place to say, if you are looking for a special cake let me know. I love decorating cakes, but my wrists won’t let me do it full time anymore…then again neither will my pants. In case you haven't picked up on the trend my talents lie in food. I can cook anything and make it just as beautiful as any picture in any book, just another reason I’m not thin. To put it bluntly, and I tend to do just that, I am fat. A love of food will do that to a person that uses food to comfort oneself.

I also do a lot of arts and crafts, I sew (renaissance garb), I cross stick, draw, paint, sculpt with clay, and I crochet. I don't yet, but would like to learn how to knit. I am always looking for new patterns and ideas, so I often will be found at Ben Franklins or A.C. Moore, or sometime Michaels. Crafting is one of the ways to avoid getting Seasonal Affective Disorder in Alaska, ergo why I have so many hobbies.
